You and your fiancé are required to fill out a Marriage License application form and bring it, in person, to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau in Las Vegas. Although you are not required to fill this form out prior to your arrival, we suggest you do to be sure you are ready. Application forms are available below in multiple languages.

Marriage licenses in Las Vegas are issued across the street from Vegas Weddings at the Clark County Marriage License Bureau. The Marriage License Bureau is located on the ground floor of the Regional Justice Center. The address is:

The fee for a marriage license is $60, payable by cash, cashier’s check, money order, or credit card. Applicants may use American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. There is an additional $5.00 service charge for credit card transactions. Debit cards are not accepted unless the card is a debit/credit card.
8am to midnight every day of the year including Holidays.

There is no waiting period or blood testing required to get a Las Vegas marriage license. Your Las Vegas marriage license is valid for one year. In other words, you must have a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas within one year of obtaining the marriage license. To get married in Las Vegas you must be a male and a female no nearer in kinship than second cousins, or cousins-in-law, and not have a living husband or wife.
To get married in Las Vegas you must be at least 18 years old. Individuals 16 or 17 years of age, who want to marry must have written parental consent from either their father or mother. This consent can be in person or with a notarized declaration. If you have further questions regarding age requirements, please call the Marriage License Bureau phone number at (702) 671-0600.
It is suggested that non-U.S. citizens check with their local officials for special documents needed to ensure their marriage is recognized in their country.
All U.S. citizens are required to provide their Social Security number on the Affidavit of Application for a Marriage License. You do not need to present your Social Security card. Those applicants not issued a Social Security number by the United States will enter “none” in the appropriate box.
